This is one of my favorite deserts and it is somewhat healthy 😉
Sugar Cookie Ingredients-
- 1 1/2 cups Salted Butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup Sweet Cream
- 2 Eggs
- 2 cups Granulated Sugar
- 2 tbsp Vanilla
- 4 tsp Baking Powder
- 6 cups All-Purpose Flour
Instructions-
Add butter, cream and sugar into bowl. Mix that until is is completely mixed. Then mix in vanilla and eggs. Then baking powder. Mix in flour two cups at a time. Do not chill the dough, as the cookies will bake better if the dough is at room temperature. Roll a handful of the dough out on a prepared surface with flour, until is it 3/8″ thick and cut out shapes with a cookie cutter. Place cut out cookies onto baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 6-8 minutes depending on the size of the cookie. Make sure to keep an eye on them and remember that they will continue to cook slightly once they are out of the oven.
Frosting Ingredients-
- 2 blocks Cream Cheese
- 2 1/2-3 cups Powdered Sugar
- Fresh Fruit (I generally use strawberries, kiwi and blueberries)
Instructions-
Place cream cheese in a bowl and slowly mix in powdered sugar. Taste as you go for your liking of how sweet you’d it. Once mixed, spread an even amount on cooled cookies. Cut up strawberries and kiwi and place all fruit on top. Refrigerate to keep everything fresh!
